The aesthetic of Lost Highway comes to life in the new track “Where Did You Go” by Robert Ascroft

Hollywood photographer, director, and renowned musician Robert Ascroft has joined forces with vocalist and actress Britta Phillips, celebrated for her work with the indie bands Luna and Dean & Britta, to recreate the allure of 1960s Film Noir with a touch of the dark surrealism of David Lynch’s Lost Highway in their new single, “Where Did You Go.” The track captivates with Ascroft’s ethereal guitar melodies, paired with Roger Brogan’s rhythmic yet refined drumming, resulting in a distinctive blend of vintage charm and contemporary sophistication.
As a master of photography, Ascroft pushes the boundaries of his craft, capturing not only striking visuals but also evocative narratives through his lens. His musical legacy, enriched by classical guitar training and extensive experience as a producer, shines through in his intricate melodies, memorable songwriting, and cinematic storytelling.
