The red-haired siren from the East Side of Los Angeles – dalloway – is once again delighting her fans with the release of her latest track, “Split.” It’s unfiltered indie pop laced with an electro edge, where raw honesty meets dreamy melancholy.
Speaking about the meaning behind the song, dalloway shares:
“I wrote it about mental compartmentalization – that inner wall we build when a relationship ends. Sometimes, in order to move on, our minds turn the ones we once adored into villains. We start seeing everything in black and white, blowing up the situation just to escape it – because we don’t feel strong enough to walk away any other way.”
