Skittish are back with their new track “Mother Nature”, which seamlessly blends folk-rock with elements of hard rock and soul. After 4 years in Los Angeles, the band, led by Jeff Noller, continues to create boundary-pushing music. “Mother Nature” reflects how city life can disconnect you from reality. The track is enriched by the piano of Phil Madeira, a session musician from Nashville, and the powerful vocals of Deza.
Skittish have always gone against the mainstream, and although they’ve been overlooked, they continue to make music without following the usual rules. This track is yet another example of their independence and unique approach to sound. Algorithms still haven’t cracked their code, but if you’re reading this, it means you’re one of those who will appreciate their style.
