Summer Winter is the solo project of Summer Sky Rudas, an Irish-Colombian singer-songwriter from Maui. Her music reflects a rich cultural background and a deep personal search: the style is constantly shifting, yet everything is tied together by delicate emotion, vibrant melodies, and raw sincerity. Her new track “So Far” blends indie pop-rock with touches of jazz and lyrical intimacy. Airy vocals and fluid harmonies create a sense of lightness, within which lies the story of an emotional maze.
Summer admits that relationships hadn’t been working out. Sometimes she met strange people, and sometimes something strange would awaken within her. That inner fragmentation found its way into the structure of the song-especially in the chorus, where the chords seem to stretch in opposite directions, expressing tension and a longing for wholeness.
