“Anarchy”: Cheap Wedding’s Intimate Downtempo with a Taste of Chaos

Behind the name Cheap Wedding stands an artist with a multifaceted past: a classically trained pianist, band member, film composer, booker, and creator of stage concepts. This wealth of experience has become the foundation for a new creative persona, where fearless reinvention meets genuine musicality.

Drawing inspiration from trip-hop and the luminous pop aesthetic of the 1980s, Cheap Wedding crafts intimate, unexpectedly sensual pop music – a space for dreaming and self-discovery. The new single “Anarchy” unfolds as a dark, mesmerizing downtempo world, where the chaos of love dissolves into a night saturated with techno rhythms. The recording features Earl Harvin (Air, Tindersticks), was produced by ORI, and mixed by TJ Allen (Bat For Lashes, Portishead).
