Wakeland was born decades ago in Stillwater, Oklahoma – a group of friends who simply wanted to play music and share the joy of the moment. What started as cover songs in a friend’s bar gradually grew into a full‑fledged band with its own audience and original material.
Their new single “It’s a Hard Love” blends pop rock, indie rock, and alt pop into a sound that feels both mature and full of life. The songwriter recalls: “The idea came to me like a dream. I woke up, and the first half of the song was already written.
