Alexandra Helgerson – a singer, songwriter, director, and actress – creates music where the personal becomes an inspiration for many. Her new composition “We’re Never Going Out” is an energetic and radiant anthem to friendship and female support, born out of difficult trials: in the summer of 2024, Alexandra was recovering from chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, while also ending a decade-long relationship.
The track emerged as a call to gather close friends together, to once again feel the strength of their laughter and love. Producer Alex Kallenberger infused the arrangement with drive, and every note resonates like a promise of joyful reunions – exactly the energy and inspiration they envisioned for this track, and Alexandra sincerely hopes that listeners will feel it.
