Verses full of mystery and a firey chorus: the premiere of IVXN’s new song “Atacama”

Ivan Milić, performing under the name IVXN, is a Croatian singer, songwriter, and creative artist who made a strong impression in 2025 with his debut at Dora, Croatia’s national selection for Eurovision. He now returns with a new single, “Atacama.” In it, pop music merges with Brazilian funk, while the driest desert on Earth becomes a metaphor for love that has burned out. The verses carry tension and mystery, only to burst into a powerful chorus that instantly sticks in the listener’s mind.

The song’s sonic landscape shifts from restrained intensity to fiery explosions of rhythm and energy, giving “Atacama” the effect of an emotional rollercoaster. It feels equally at home on crowded dance floors and in solitary late-night listening. Layered vocals, live guitars, synths, and intricate beatwork come together in a rich, dynamic production with a global appeal-yet the Croatian lyrics preserve their authenticity and modern edge.
