“Everyone Knew Except Me”: What Is Sloan Treacy Singing About in Her New Single “Common Knowledge”?

Sixteen-year-old Sloan Treacy has known since childhood that she wanted to do music. Her father taught her how to play guitar, and together with him she composed her first songs. Recently, Sloan presented her new single “Common Knowledge,” recorded in Los Angeles and Nashville. The producer was Don Miggs (Cowboy Mouth, Dolly Parton), and the mixing was done by Grammy-nominated Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons).

The song is about how you feel naive when someone acts against you- everyone foresaw it except you – and you have to pretend that you knew about it from the very beginning. The young artist, who loves going to concerts, is eagerly waiting for the opportunity to go on tour and share her music with as many people as possible.
