Jax Fleming, a singer and songwriter in the alternative pop-rock genre, began on the largest stages of the tri-state region (Ford Center, Victory Theatre) as the frontman of the band Atlas of the Dogs. After a short break, the artist returned with a new sound and confidence in the new track “Macie.” The song tells about the singer’s youthful relationship, which changed quickly and in a way neither of them expected.
A couple tries to cope with something difficult, something they were not ready for, and the consequences of this changed them both. The joy and fear that came afterward, and the gradual distance between them – all of this is reflected in the song.
