The list of Christmas songs in our magazine’s editorial collection has been expanded by one song. Its author is Teghan Devon – a singer and songwriter from Maryland who specializes in what she calls “emotional destruction songs.” Be it personal grief, characters from books and movies, childhood dogs, or even sea turtles – Teghan finds inspiration in everything. And during the Christmas season, the atmosphere itself encourages inspiration.
The song “Don’t Let A Boy Ruin Christmas” is a light and pure pop/R&B track. It has now gained almost 20,000 streams on Spotify. The goal that the singer sets for herself is to strengthen the composition’s popularity during the holiday season: to promote it in playlists, receive mentions in the press, and get radio rotation.
