When Life Feels Ordinary: Emmalee Rainbow Explores Big Emotions on “I’ve Had Some Wine”

Emmalee Rainbow, a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, has released a new single, “I’ve Had Some Wine” – a personal and large-scale confession infused with the melancholy of the ’80s. Together with Max Morando (Miley Cyrus, Liily), she created a track where the neon sadness of U2 and The Cure meets the sincerity of modern indie.

The song was born amid the chaos of Vegas and the desert beyond – about longing for something greater when life feels painfully ordinary,” says Emmalee. A slowly building anthem grows into the scale of a soundtrack for a blockbuster’s final scene.
