Courtney’s voice is sincere and confidently mature. The song is about personal experiences that she is not afraid to bring to light. “In the video, I wanted to show what this song means to me,” Hadwin shares. “It’s probably the most honest and difficult work I’ve ever written. And working with director Polly helped convey that very feeling of frustration and vulnerability, bringing the whole idea to life.”
