Jessica Poza’s music – a singer and songwriter from Navarre, Spain -is a mix of pop, indie, R&B, and rock, which is especially close to her thanks to her father and his collection of rock classic vinyls. Inspired by strong female voices, she found her calling and studied at music school, sang in a local rock band. But there were also difficult times, she faced anxiety and depression. And the song “25” was born precisely in such a period.
The song is about the fear that someone else’s prophecy is coming true, and about the decision not to let them be right. Now, at 29 years old, with a healed wound, she shares the song as proof of resilience. We are stronger than we think. If you’ve ever been told that you won’t succeed- two pieces of advice: stay away from such people, and remember: we fall, many times. But each time we get up.
