Bellman, also known as Arne-Johan Rauan, lives in a cozy cabin among the Norwegian fjords – on an islet of silence, where his music is born under the northern lights. He composes Nordic dream pop – sensitive, multilayered, and enchanting, it seems as if it is made of light and mist. His music contains dozens of sound layers and depth; Bellman “sculpts” music like a sculptor.
His new track “She’s Reading Poe” is a step towards the dark poetry of the inner world. Here he explores themes of alienation and loss of control – and does so with rare delicacy. If you want to get a little lost in sound and find yourself again, it’s the perfect time to listen to “She’s Reading Poe.”
