Tender Glue is not a person and not a group in the usual sense. Rather, it is music that appears because it needs to appear. Behind the project is Tom Gluevich: he grew up in Poland and moved to New York in 2002. His introduction to music began at the age of twelve – that’s when he fixed a broken guitar that his brother once brought home. That’s how it all started.
The new track “Wasted” is about time, choice, and the people you’re drawn to, even if you don’t always understand why. The song carries a sense of reckless forward motion, impulsive decisions, and the urge to look back: did all those years matter, or did they simply dissolve? It’s a story about uncertainty, hesitation, and the doubt of whether patience will ever pay off.
