Astara Black – a fresh name in the musical landscape, a project born from the creative world of Whitney Cline, presents her single “New Green Desert.” This work symbolizes her journey toward inner alignment, a harmony with the choices and decisions she has made. In her youth, she was a prisoner of her childhood traumas, but after a long and challenging path to adulthood, she was able to reconnect with her true self. Ironically, after more than a decade away from her career, it was during this time of rest that she rediscovered the passion that had always lived within her.
In collaboration with Eric Davis from the band Hembree, her music is now ready to serve as a guiding light for others on their own quests. The old dies, decays, and fades away. We cannot hold on to it. It no longer works. Welcome to the New Green Desert. What comes next is up to each of us.
