“Echoionpulse” by Vincent Projects: A Vinyl Past, a Digital Present, an Emotional Future

From early childhood, Vincent Projects was surrounded by the sounds of vinyl. His grandfather’s collection from the 1950s and ’60s played at home as a continuous soundtrack, in the mornings, in the evenings, and even during Sunday cleanings. Later, his father’s records were added to these crackling melodies – from the 70s–80s, with fatter basslines and that very mood that feels like summer never ends. He never studied at a conservatory and rarely picked up an instrument, but his ear is as sharp as a trained DJ’s: he can instantly recognize a masterpiece. He was always drawn to visuals – graffiti, posters, album covers. It was through graphic design that he accidentally stumbled upon DAWs, digital audio workstations. And that’s when it all began: sounds, layers, rhythms all of it suddenly became tools he wanted to experiment with.

Over time, he became more and more drawn to calm, atmospheric beats, the kind that make you think, drive at night, or dissolve into sound. But even the calmest person sometimes finds themselves dozing off at the wheel, and that’s when you crave something more energetic. Something that sounds like a storm, where inside it, you’re the captain steering the ship, and the road is the sea before you. That very feeling gave birth to the idea: why not bring all of this together in a mini-album? A small musical explosion, with waves, depth, and fragments of that same vinyl magic, where a special atmosphere and energy could be captured.

And here’s what came out of it! I invite you to get acquainted with the new progressive trance and EDM EP “Echoionpulse” by Vincent Projects . There are only four tracks, echoing an idea often attributed to Nietzsche: “Do little, but do it well.” That’s why each one is a carefully polished brushstroke in the overall picture. The first track, “Introspective Symphony,” is like starting an engine on a cool morning. Imagine: you’re still a bit sleepy, it’s fresh outside, the air is crisp and clear. Everything begins gently, step by step, quiet percussion, a deep, unhurried bass, and synths that slowly awaken, like light breaking through a fogged-up window. The blend of techno groove and soft house notes creates an atmosphere where the synthesizer seems to live a life of its own – first smooth, then gradually more vivid, like a play of light and shadow on the walls. The composition doesn’t rush, doesn’t demand decisions, but instead expands space and slowly prepares the listener for new impressions.

The second track, “Pass the Beach,” picks up the pace. There’s no room for yawning now, the structure becomes denser, the rhythm pushes forward, as if someone’s saying: “Alright, let’s go.” There’s something of the progressive school in this sound – the way it builds layer by layer, spiraling into a sonic helix. Your imagination paints a club or a festival where the crowd moves in sync, and you’re a part of it. Here, the DNA of the ‘80s breaks through, not as a retro flashback, but as a style rebooted in a new way. A tight rhythm and punchy drums hold your attention right to the end, setting a powerful tone. In turn, the track “Warm Magnolia” is the center of gravity. Here, the music speaks louder, more assertively. It’s not anger, it’s more like “I’m awake now, and I have something to say.” It’s as if the captain takes the helm and leads through a sonic storm. The mood here is slightly ominous, because of the thick, sneaky synths in the background and a kind of drone that drowns out the lighter passages. Polyrhythms, fat pads, space, everything breathes, everything moves. This rhythm won’t let anyone fall asleep, it keeps you sharp, charges you with energy, and pushes emotional intensity to its peak.

However, the final track, “Bake Encounter,” has a completely different vibe. It doesn’t hit hard, it doesn’t shake you. It cleanses. It feels like an exhale after a long journey, and in that exhale, there is lightness. Not a trace of fatigue, only a calm, steady peace. Smooth synth waves, transparent arpeggios, and airy pads create an atmosphere of total cleansing – as if the music itself is wiping away all tension. It’s that moment when you’re back behind the wheel, and from the speakers comes a clear, focused sound.

The EP Vincent Projects “Echoionpulse” captures how people feel their time. Its style is emotionally precise, rich in a variety of moods, and the constant play of nuances and details in the arrangements is something that will please an attentive listener. It’s more of an extroverted statement, a reflection of the author’s emotions. Passing through the nervous informational pressure of our era, Vincent Projects seems to have reached a new level of sensing and understanding electronic music. Having started with an interest in graphic design that grew into a passion for creating music, Vincent Projects showcases a unique path as an artist.
