We invite you to listen to Eliza Noxon’s new song, “You.” She wrote it in a cold dorm room just over a year after the death of her brother. “You” is a darker and more intense expression of her grief than anything she had shared before: simple in structure and lyrics, yet incredibly raw and sincere.
Working on the song allowed Eliza to channel all her anger, fear, and loss into music, creating a way to connect with others. The result is direct, honest, and deeply moving. Blending traditional folk with an indie-rock sensibility, Eliza explores in her music the tender chaos of loss, the search for self, and the strange pain of growing up.
