Telephone Romeo is the project of producer and artist Alexi Skippare. The new track “Slippin” sounds like the perfect soundtrack for a long, hot summer: it carries a slow-burning sweetness, dense guitar riffs, and a hook that is instantly catchy and almost addictive.
Alexi describes the track simply: sometimes you just have to stop controlling the process and let the music come out on its own. “Slippin’” is exactly that – it feels like it burst out without filters. There is a directness and openness in it that can be challenging, but that is also what makes it feel alive. According to the artist, working on the track felt like stepping into new territory – risky, but inspiring, and he is genuinely proud of the result.
