Indie folk artist Michi presents her new single “Short Story,” featuring Spanish rapper Dunkan. This sunny and cheeky track turns a familiar phrase about “short stories” into a lighthearted anthem for fleeting feelings.
“It all started with a phrase I heard over a drink. I had a crush on a girl, and when I asked her what kind of relationship she was looking for, she said, ‘I prefer short stories.’ I laughed, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it – and then I started singing the phrase,” Michi recalls. And so, Michi’s bright and infectious new song was born – a song about feelings destined to become just one chapter, rather than a story that lasts a lifetime.
