Sasha & The Bear – “Serial Pleaser”: Nocturnal Psychedelic Pop About Closed Cycles

Sasha & The Bear present “Serial Pleaser” – a soft, slightly melancholic psychedelic pop track with a nocturnal, hypnotic mood. In terms of sound, the track sits somewhere between Tame Impala and Glass Animals: warm basses, pulsating drums, layered synthesizers, and a catchy, easily memorable hook.

It is music at the intersection of indie dance and alternative pop, but with a very personal tone – without excessive distance, more “inward” than “toward the crowd.” Lyrically, it explores the internal conflict between control and impulse: when you realize that the cycle is not the healthiest, but you still return to it because it somehow gives a sense of pleasure.
