Marta Valadon is a violinist and songwriter with a strong sense of freedom, who began her journey with endless travels across Europe in her van, where the street became her first and most important stage. She later settled in London, where she naturally integrated into the local roots music scene while preserving her own nomadic spirit. Formally, Marta holds a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from the Academy of Music in Poznań, Poland, but her artistic voice was shaped outside academic frameworks. She has developed a distinctive style by blending Mediterranean and Eastern European jazz traditions, adding intimate, emotionally raw lyricism.
Her new track, “Bus to Nowhere,” sounds like a late-night ride through a sleepy London: slightly blurred, faintly intoxicated, tinged with heartbreak, and carrying the sense that the route matters less than the act of moving forward.
