It may strike many people as strange, but it’s catchy nonetheless. The song was recorded in his home studio. Dave handled the drums, piano, and vocals, while the song’s producer, Jeff Fielder, added guitars, synthesizers, and Mellotron. In the end, it was this slightly crazy combination that made it work.
