Los Angeles rock band Mama No Likey has released its new single, “Light Up The Night” – a cinematic rock ballad about overcoming heartbreak, finding freedom, and discovering inner strength. Maddi Lasker’s vocals give the song a new direction for the band, with a slower and more atmospheric sound.
The song tells the story of a woman who rediscovers herself in the energy of Los Angeles at night after a painful breakup. What initially feels like a loss gradually becomes a path to freedom and new possibilities. “Light Up The Night” is about the moment when pain no longer defines you – and when you realize that the source of your light and strength has been within you all along.
