DINAH is a Berlin-based duo of Maya Audrey and Robert Kerner, blending contemporary indie pop with a warm, cinematic sound. Analog synths, shimmering guitars, and a hint of nostalgia evoke hazy memories and long drives along the coast.
“Silent Movie” follows a young woman searching for her roots and trying to make sense of a painful past she cannot put into words. Her memories surface through old photographs, childhood fragments, and images of loved ones. Set on Brighton Pier on England’s southern coast, the song blurs the line between past and present, balancing loss with warmth and leaving a lingering sense of longing, intimacy, and the things that remain unspoken.
