“Thank God For Music” is Backsprint’s new song and a love letter to music that helps us stay grounded when life gets a little stormy. Written and performed by Uroš Jojić, the track leans into warm country rock, an unhurried 6/8 rhythm, and a deliberately live feel.
The song was recorded with almost no safety net: multiple takes, no overdubs, no Auto-Tune, and not even a metronome. As a result, the vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and backing vocals sound genuinely alive and slightly raw. “Thank God For Music” is one of those songs that doesn’t need to prove anything. It simply plays and does what music does best.
