23-year-old Kat Roshan is a vibrant singer-songwriter from Kuala Lumpur. In her music, her Malay and Chinese roots intertwine into a unique cultural and emotional mix.
Her new track “Mixed Signals” is a story about a familiar emotional rollercoaster of being pulled close one moment and pushed away the next. Uncertainty, others’ doubts, and emotional unavailability trap the listener in an endless cycle of hope that is hard to escape.
