“Together” is a new indie rock single about a journey and the desire to be close to a loved one, from the band BESTiE, based in Vancouver, Canada. The track is inspired by 1980s post-punk and new wave aesthetics in the spirit of New Order and Depeche Mode, as well as contemporary alternative rock associated with The War On Drugs. The result is an emotional, cinematic song about long-distance love and the journey toward one another.
“Together” is the band’s second new release after a ten-year hiatus, giving the record particular weight and a strong sense of return. The recording also features RIKKA – a Swiss Eurovision Song Contest 2015 finalist – who provides vocal parts and adds further emotional depth to the track. The track was produced by Jeff Dawson, a Grammy-nominated producer.
