moodtwn is the solo project of Los Angeles-based songwriter and guitarist Joseph Levchak. It is music where past and present are constantly intertwined: alternative rock shaped by memory, movement, urban noise, and quiet romance. Here, melodies stick in your head like echoes of long-familiar roads.
The debut single, “Topanga Days,” sets the tone for the entire project. It’s an alternative rock track that carries the spirit of canyon roads, warm summer nights, and that elusive, hard-to-describe but instantly recognizable sense of longing.
