The Ediacaran and Raquel Lúa “Butterfly” About Change and Freedom

The Ediacaran released the indie-folk single “Butterfly” in collaboration with Spanish-Catalan singer Raquel Lúa. The song reflects on cultural and social change, gradually turning into a subtle love letter to Barcelona – a city of freedom, openness, and forward movement.

“Butterfly” captures the experience of adapting to a new environment: from observing change to acceptance and personal growth. In the third verse, the shift to Catalan moves the perspective from departure to arrival and a sense of belonging. The Ediacaran operate as an open creative platform, blending indie, folk, alternative R&B, and reggae. For Raquel Lua, this release continues a path deeply rooted in Catalan and Spanish folk traditions.
