Rob Bellamy & The Rebel Hearts: Music About Winters, Labor, and Character

“Cold Country” – is the debut single of the country-rock band Rob Bellamy & The Rebel Hearts from New England. A powerful, cinematic anthem about pride in one’s place in the world, resilience, and an attitude shaped by long winters and hard labor. In sonic terms, it sits somewhere between Noah Kahan, Koe Wetzel, and modern American rock, driven by soaring guitars, powerful drums, and a large-scale chorus.

The official music video was filmed in the wilderness of New Hampshire, where the band performs by a campfire in subzero temperatures, visually bringing to life the mindset of the song “Cold Country.” The Rebel Hearts were formed to convey the spirit of New England, its cold winters, working-class resilience, and a strong sense of identity.
