Don’t Overthink It, Just Enjoy the Moment: runner’s New Song “My Man”

Vancouver-based band runner, from British Columbia, have released “My Man,” a lighthearted, playful country song with a touch of melancholy. It captures that moment when one relationship is coming to an end and another is already beginning to take shape on the horizon.

Vocalist and songwriter Kira Cuthbertson wrote “My Man” during a time when her own love life was going through a similar transition. In the song, she reflects on how quickly things can change in love, reminding us that not every experience needs to be picked apart in search of a deeper meaning. Sometimes, it’s better to go with the flow, pay attention to what’s unfolding, and let a new story develop at its own pace.
