Independent artist Matt Hansen returns with his new single “THINKING BOUT ME,” in which he leans into a lighter, more playful side of his sound.
According to the musician, the song was inspired by a familiar feeling – that sudden moment when your heart “skips a beat” and you catch yourself thinking about someone from your past. Not necessarily out of a desire to rekindle anything, but more out of curiosity: are they thinking about you too? It’s a quiet, slightly forbidden kind of pleasure – testing an invisible connection that once meant a lot.
Sometimes these thoughts remain fleeting flashes, but they still create the sense that shared memories continue to exist somewhere – in someone’s mind, even if your paths have long since diverged.
