Shoegaze Haze and Soft Disconnection in Soft Siren’s World

Soft Siren is a dream-pop band from Los Angeles, formed by members of Sidewalks and Skeletons, CASHFORGOLD, and Michael Coe (Count The Clock). Their sound balances between dream and reality, blending 90s shoegaze and trip-hop with the psychedelic warmth of the 70s. Airy vocals dissolve into layers of guitar noise and feedback, creating a soft yet dense atmosphere.

“When Morning Comes Around” is an indie rock song about two people who are gradually pulled apart by reality. Built around a melancholic disco groove, psychedelic guitars, and delicate, almost translucent harmonies, the track captures a mood suspended between longing and love, like the hazy hours before dawn. It conveys a sense of fragile intimacy that endures despite the distance between them.
