Gareth Inkster Plays with Patterns, Meaning, and Sound in “Domino”

Gareth Inkster combines classical musical training with a strong pop sensibility, creating compositions that are both richly layered and instantly memorable. His sound brings together sophisticated harmonies and melodies that catch your attention from the very first seconds.

His new track “Domino” grew out of the artist’s fascination with geometry, particularly Penrose tiling and fractals. These ideas also found their way into the lyrics, where Inkster reflects on patterns, repetition, and our attempts to find order in the chaos of life. “Domino” is a thoughtful and poetic song that leaves plenty of room for personal interpretation. Gareth himself is behind every stage of the process – he wrote, performed, recorded, and mixed the track.
