Amm is an independent artist from San Diego who writes and produces her own music. “Do you feel the ceiling?” is a song about the moment you realize you’ve reached the limit of how much you can be loved-about the feeling of always being second place in someone’s life, even while giving everything you have to a relationship and never receiving the same in return.
She wrote the track back in 2018, and it was later developed with her friends Andres Salomon and Ethan Rounds. The song took a long journey: three versions and eight years of work before it became the one Amm finally decided to release. Today, it’s her favorite piece-not only because of the result, but also because of the personal growth it took to bring it to completion.
