dB Trooper marks a new chapter in the work of Josh Moorehead, a musician from Colorado. His songs are shaped by experiences of upheaval, recovery, and the need to keep creating despite circumstances. After years of touring and performing with various bands, Moorhead was involved in a serious car accident that reshaped his approach to music. He shifted from guitar to piano and keyboards, beginning to write from an entirely new place in his life.

The result is a collection of tracks centered on loss, acceptance, and starting over, where heaviness is balanced with hope. The single “Not So Bad” offers a gentle blend of indie rock and indie pop with warm, melodic tones. Created with drummer Tate Ignelzi and bassist Dan Volmer, the project combines bright, Beatles-esque sensibilities with an honest, emotionally open sound.
