Glamour, Synths, and Hollywood Nostalgia: Veronica Powers’ New Single

Veronica Powers has always felt like she was born in the wrong era. From an early age, she was captivated by the glamour, sparkle, and magic of Old Hollywood – thanks in no small part to her grandmother, Jean Grey MacDonald, whose roots are deeply connected to Hollywood’s legendary golden age.

That love for the romance of cinema comes to life in her new single, “Old Hollywood.” The track was recorded at the legendary Real Songs studio in the heart of Los Angeles – a city that has changed dramatically over the decades, but remains just as special to Veronica. Blending Electro Pop, Dance Pop, and Synthpop, “Old Hollywood” sounds light, bright, and sunny, transforming nostalgia for the golden age of cinema into a fresh, contemporary pop track.
